#36:\u00a0Mitchell<\/h2>\n

Mitchell\u00a0is the father of\u00a0three\u00a0daughters aged 42, 40, and 35, and a 27-year-old son.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

What was the moment when you first felt like a father?<\/strong><\/p>\n

First time I held my daughter at the hospital.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What’s your favorite part about being a father?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hugging my kids.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What’s the hardest part about being a father?<\/strong><\/p>\n

When I had to be stern.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What’s the dumbest\/funniest thing that your kid has cried about or fought with you over?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My son cried because mom was at work. He was eating SpaghettiO’s and kept crying “oie oie.”<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What are you most proud of having taught\/shared with your kids or what are you most looking forward to teaching\/sharing with them?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Proud they’re\u00a0good people, caring and do what they can to help others, no matter the cost.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What’s your favorite thing about your kids?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spending time with them, laughing and kidding around.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If you could go back in time and give yourself a piece of advice when you first became a father, what would you say?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Spend even more time with them, see the little things you miss because you’re\u00a0afraid something will happen to them. Being a grandpa\u00a0now, I see so many more things my grandkids do progressing, because I don’t have all the parent fear and protectiveness.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Tell your kids every morning that you love them, tell them every night that you love them, and support them in their\u00a0ideas.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
